Christopher Houghton

  "I qualified as a Solicitor in 1969. I joined Moore & Tibbits in 1972 and became a partner in 1973. I specialise in Commercial and Residential Property and am Managing Partner of the Practice. I am grateful to have been able to join such a nice firm and to work with such pleasant and able colleagues in the town of Warwick.

It has especially been a pleasure to be involved in the expansion of the Practice over the years to what it is today. I am also Clerk to many of the well-established charities in Warwick, including the Charity of Thomas Oken. My interests include skiing, riding, tennis, bicycling, walking and gardening, but skiing is my favourite."

  "I joined Moore & Tibbits in 1972 and became a Partner in 1977. I am the Partner heading the Civil and Criminal Department.

I am also a Solicitor Advocate regularly appearing in the Crown Court and when required, the Court of Appeal."


 

Angela Woodruff

  "I qualified and joined Moore & Tibbits in 1969 and became a partner in the Practice in 1989. I specialise in Family Law, Probate and Residential Conveyancing.

I am a member of Resolution (formerly known as the Solicitors Family Law Association) and in 1999 became one of the first few lawyers in the country to achieve the organisation's Family Law Specialist Accreditation."


 

John Pike

  "I was born in Conwy and lived in Llundudno until qualifying as a solicitor in 1970. I joined Campbell Brown & Ledbrook on qualifying and became a partner in 1974. Joined Moore & Tibbits as a partner following the merger of Campbell Brown & Ledbrook with Moore & Tibbits in 1997.

I specialise in Wills, Probate, Estates and Elderly Advice. I am a practising Christian."


 

Keith Wright

  "I have practised law since 1971 both in the public and private sector. I begun my own practice in Warwick in 1987 and am delighted to have merged with Moore & Tibbits in 2005, becoming a Partner in the firm.

My specialist areas of law are property based, particularly in commercial matters. My interests include sailing and archery."


 

Jamie Strong

I qualified in 1996, having originally graduated in French & Spanish. Since qualification I have specialised in Criminal Defence Work, covering a wide caseload from simple motoring matters through to Murder and Terrorist Act offences. I joined Moore & Tibbits in 2007, having previously headed a criminal defence team for 10 years elsewhere in Warwickshire.

In my spare time I like going to the police station!; failing that I try to entertain my young children and enjoy wine, shooting and socialising (not necessarily in that order).


 

Joy Redfern

  "I have worked at Moore & Tibbits for more years than I care to remember! I am Manager of the Conveyancing Department and I specialise in most areas of Property Law, including Residential Conveyancing.

Outside of work I have a love for gardening, shopping and travel."


 

Nicola Gillet

  "I am a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives dealing with personal injury and accident claims and Civil litigation matters.

I also assist the Criminal Litigation team. I joined Moore & Tibbits in 1976 and am extremely experienced."


 

Sheila Wallington

"I am a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and have worked at Moore & Tibbits for over 20 years. I specialise in Probate Matters, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Elderly issues.

I am married and have a son and a daughter and have lived in the Warwick area all my life and play tennis regularly and sing in a local choir."


 

Lucy Myatt

  "I am a Duty Solicitor covering both local Police Station and Court Duty commitments. I graduated from UWE with a law degree in 1991 and completed my LPC in York. I trained and qualified as a Solicitor in Exeter in 1996 and joined M & T in 1998.

I am the fourth generation of lawyers in my family, following in my Father, grandfather and great- grandfather's footsteps. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, skiing and windsurfing."

  "I am a Solicitor specialising in Criminal Law and Motoring matters. Having worked in private practice and the public sector and with 10 years of legal experience in the Midlands I now conduct the full range of cases in the Magistrates and Crown Court.

In any spare time I have I like to play cricket and enjoy travelling."


 

Kate Weston

  "I graduated in Law in 1999 from Nottingham University where after I completed my LPC at Birmingham University and my training at a large Midlands Law Firm. I joined Moore & Tibbits as a Solicitor in March 2005 to specialise in Property Law and in particular Residential Conveyancing.

I have an interest in and am involved with the continuing marketing of Moore & Tibbits including the development of the new website. In my spare time I enjoy reading, travelling, music, film, and trying to keep fit!"
