From the moment you are arrested as a suspect we advise you on your rights and obligations and protect your best interests. If you are arrested and taken to a police station we can be contacted 24 hours a day – just ask for us and the Duty Solicitor Call Centre will contact us.

We represent you in cases in the Magistrates’ Courts where most cases are dealt with. We have expert knowledge of the Youth Courts dealing with young people in the Criminal Justice System. In our team we have three Solicitor Advocates who regularly appear in the Crown Courts. The most serious charges are before the Crown Court and we have long experience of the most serious cases. Should matters proceed through the appeal process, we also deal with cases in the Court Of Appeal.

We are an enthusiastic and skilled team and we have the support of Lynda McLucas and Julie Harris as our administrative backup and they can be contacted during the day with any queries which will be relayed to members of the team. Overseeing the smooth running of the large volume of cases which the team deal with is Nicola Gillett.
